How To Fill Up a ECIG Vape TANK For First Time

Now we have all been there when we have just been to the local town centre and have come home with a ecig in our bag. We are excited to open up everything and quit smoking, but you are unsure on how to refull a vape ecig mod. Now filling an ecig to long term vapors is probably part of their daily life routine. But for new vapers, we have written this guide to help you refill a vape mod correctly the first time without breaking or spilling anything. Also new vapers don't know that you will have to prime your coils for first time use. We have seen many people gone back to cigs because they mention that there ecig tastes like crap. If you do it right the first time you will find right away that vaping tastes 100% better than cigs.

Bottom or top fill?

Now putting ejuice in a vape tank is one thing, but you need to find out if you have a bottom or top fill tank. Top fill tanks usually have an removable opening and close system, where you can simply fill up the tank with eliquid. This is a common design implementation that is seen on many SMOK branded tanks such as the TFV4, TFV8 and the new shiny TFV12. Some are designed differently and they only can be filled if you take the glass from the tank by unscrewing it off from the base.

1) If its a vape pen that is never been previously setup before, then you will need to prime the coils prior to filling up the tank.

2) In most cases, when you get a new cig tank it comes with a preinstalled coil. If not, all you do is take the tank apart and screw it into the bottom base.

3) IMPORTANT: Get your eliquid bottle and pour around 5 drops into the centre part of the coil. You will also see small holes on the side, pour a drop into each hole. This will ensure that the eliquid soaks up the new cotton inside so that when you fire up your ecig for the first time, you will not experience a burnt dry tasting hit that can be an harsh on your throat.

4) If its bottom fill turn the glass part upside down, so mouth piece facing downwards. Now that you have done this twist the tank back onto the glass. If its top fill simply open the hatch, place the tip of the eliquid bottle into it a squeeze the bottle, stopping until you get almost to the top.

5) Thats it you have refilled your ecig vape mod with eliquid, it wasnt that hard. Now all you have to do is wait 10 minutes for it to soak in a be fully primed. I know you might be tempted to take a hit before that but you risk burning up the coil, so watch some tv in the meantime or game for a bit.
