Each tank has a coil placed inside it to heat up the liquid and turn it into smokeable vapor. Depending on how you vape and the quality of your tank, coils can last upto 2-4 weeks. They will stiff work after this time period, however performance will not be that good and you may get the burnt taste. Coils are really expensive, especially with new tanks such as the TFV12. So you are probably wondering how you can make ECIG coils last longer.
1) Prime your coils. You should do this each time
if you have taken your tank apart or if its been sitting for a while with no
eliquid inside it. This will fully ensure that the cotton is fully covered with
ejuice preventing anything dry or burnt hits. This will make your coils for
your ecig vape pen last long because this is the only thing that mainly goes
wrong with them.
2) Dont vape at high watts or above what the
coils is rated out. The more higher you increase the watts on your mod, the
more strain that is placed onto the coil itself. There is a metal wire inside
that heats up around the cotton, it can weak overtime especially if you go past
the limits of the coil. If a coil is rated at max 60 watts and you go to 100
you probably going to damage the coil from your ecig vape pen.
3) Clean your coils. If performance is affected
and you can't afford or get to new coils just yet, you can try cleaning them.
The best way to clean ecig coils is fill a cup of warm water from a kettle and
allow your coils to soak over night. Then dry them clean using a hair dryer.
4) Building your own coils. If you have got a RDA
base for your ecig tank you can make your own coils. Most of the time coils
last longer in a RDA because you can customise the style and if you get a burnt
taste, all you got to do is simply switch out the cotton and your good to go.
