How To Change the Coil on a SMOK TFV12 Tank

When the SMOK TFV12 tank came out in the UK first, there were loads of tanks for sale on the market but no coils to purchase. After a few weeks later common online ecig vendors started carrying coils for your TFV12 tank. The coils themselves look absolutely huge compared to the coils in the TFV8 baby and other smaller tanks. Before you purchase one, there are numerous coil types that you can choose from that many e-cigarettes reviews cover. Once you have purchased the correct type of coil for your ecig vape pen, you will need to replace the current burnt out coil in your SMOK TFV12 tank. This is very simple to do and will be quickly completed within 5 minutes. Remember to take the extra time to prime your coils because if you dont then you can risk the coil burning up. Once you have got a dry hit the first time using it, it will still happen later because the white cotton inside is become burned due to not being soaked properly.

1) Its best to unscrew the SMOK TFV12 tank from the your ecig vape pen because when you take the take apart, sometimes remaining eliquid can come out of it and getting onto your mod.

2) Turn the tank upside down, so the mouthpiece part is facing down and the bottom 510 connector is facing up. Twist the glass part by holding it from the top anticlockwise and begin to unscrew it off from the base.

3) Once you have done that, the glass will separate from the TFV12 tank. You are now ready to remove and change the coil. Twist the coil off from the base and throw it in the bin.

4) Line up your new coil in the base of the tank and screw it in. Make sure its screwed in nice and tight because the SMOK TFV12 ecig vape tank is brand new now and is prone to leakage. 

5) Pour a few drops of ejuice in the cotton in the sides of the coil and the middle part. Make sure the middle part is really soaked up. Put the tank back together and tank it up will eliquid. Let it sit for about 10 minutes before use to ensure that its fully soaked up to prevent the coil tasting burned.
