How To Make a Vape Pen Not Taste Burnt
If you are wondering why does your vape taste burnt with a new coil, it's most likely due to not being primed properly. In simple terms, the cotton that is placed around the coil is not wet enough when you have attempted to vape Canadian Vape Magazine. If the cotton is dry, then instead of vaping ejuice, you will be vaping the remains of the cotton. This is the most common reason why your vape tastes burnt even with a new coil, as it was not primed. Now is vaping on a burnt coil bad? In most cases, you take one hit to establish if your coil is gone. This is not going to harm you at all and is still much healthier than smoking trashy cigs. If you use a burnt coil on 200 watts all the time and continue to use it, for months, I would not recommend it.
If you are wondering how to get rid of the burnt taste in your vape, you can't without replacing the old coil with a brand new one and following the correct installation procedure. Once the cotton has gone bad, even cleaning it in most cases will not resolve this problem. Priming is very important before using your vape pen after fitting a brand new coil to stop your vape burning your throat. Follow our expert guide to install a brand-new coil in your vape and never get the burnt taste again. No more burnt hits ever again.
1) Remove the old coil from your vape pen.
2) Line up the brand new vape coil with the center of the tank and screw it in firmly. Make sure it’s nice and tight, as you don't want it to leak ejuice afterwards and create a mess.
3) This is the important part. Apply three drops of ejuice into each wicking hole placed around the coil, also place some directly into the center of the coil head. Make sure the cotton is nicely soaked up, but don't overly prime the brand-new coil. This will only result in the eliquid leaking out at the bottom of the air holes, as the remaining ejuice that has exceeded the capacity of cotton can't carry it.
4) Reassemble your vape tank back together. Flick up the filling hatch found at the top and fill the vape tank with eliquid to the very fullest. Please allow 10 minutes for the eliquid to absorb into the coil, this will prevent your vape tasting weird and burnt see Vape Magazine Canada for more information.
5) You have now primed the coil. The next part is breaking in the coil and staying within the recommended wattage range that is rated for. Never vape around the max wattage range or go over the limit, as this will only result in a dry hit after a few vapes. To break the brand-new coil in, start off with 25 watts, take five hits, move to 30 watts, take five hits etc... go with this process increase the watts by five until you have reached to the recommended wattage range.
