How To Remove Stuck Vape Coil From Chimney On SMOK Vape Tank

If you have screwed the vape coil too tight when you last change the vape coil, it can be somewhat problematic when trying to remove it from the vape tank. This can become a real problem when quickly having to change the vape coil before setting off to go to work. I have had many customers experience this problem with the SMOK TFV8 tanks with using the extension piece and with the Aspire Nautilus 2. One thing I would like to clarify is, it’s not a fault with the tank, it’s usually a user error of overtightening in the first place that causes the coil to get stuck in the top. Can this be fixed? Yes, you can remove the stuck vape coil in your SMOK vape tank, however, it can be a pain to get off. You will need to use a pair of small DIY pliers to remove the stick coil from the vape tank, as using your hands will not provide enough force.

1) You will need to disassemble your vape tank that you want to remove the stuck vape coil from.

2) Drain all the old ejuice from the vape tank and wash all the metal parts. Then followed by wiping down the parts. This will ensure that teeth of the pliers don't slip around when you are trying to grip the coil.

3) Remove the center glass. Place a towel over the top part of the vape tank. Using your pliers, place the teeth over the coil that is stuck. Don't worry about damaging the coil, as you are going to replace it anyway.

4) You will need to twist the coil head that is gripped by the pliers and the top part of the tank in opposite directions. Turn the coil anti-clockwise using the pliers and the top part clockwise. With a few attempts, the coils should become loose and you can screw it off. It may take several attempts depending on how tight the coil is stuck in the chimney in your SMOK TFV8 baby beast tank.

I hope this guide has helped you remove the stuck vape coil from your SMOK tank. If you any other problems or need further help, please contact us and we will be more than welcome to provide you with further assistance.
