How To Use Temperature Control On a Vape Pen
Setting the Temperature Control for the first time is easier than you think, and almost everything you know about setting your vaporizer or MOD will apply when you use the Temperature Control (CT) function. The first thing that you must ensure is that your vaporizer is set to the Temperature Control Mode for the type of coil you will use in your Atomizer, RBA, RTA or RDA. Then you will be ready to use either eliquid or CBD with your vape pen with temperature control the right way.
Depending on your vaporizer (mechanical MOD, electronic MOD etc.), you could have a single TC vaping mode that supports both Nickel (Ni) and Titanium (Ti) coils, or it could have a specific mode of temperature control that should be adjusted to support coils of either Nickel or Titanium individually.
The second thing you must do after connecting the atomizer to your MOD in temperature control mode is to "lock it to the base of the resistance" of the coil while it is at room temperature. Blocking the resistance base of the coil at room temperature provides the vaping temperature control function with critical information that it needs to operate properly.
It is very important to emphasize that this step is critical in the configuration process, otherwise the base of the resistance would be misplaced and the Temperature Control readings would be inaccurate. At this point, you can adjust the recommended power for the coil you use (see the recommended wattage for the coil on the manufacturer's website).
The last step is to select a temperature that your coil does not exceed in Celcius or Fahrenheit degrees.
