Have you just purchased a brand new ecig vape pen and it's not working? Firstly, I am sorry to hear about this problem. It’s very common and we get many customers that come into our ecig vape shop complaining about their vape pen nic salt device not powering on. Most of the time, your brand new ecig vape pen is not working because of a simple user error that can easily be resolve in a matter of seconds. You don't get hardware problems, it's very rare with new stuff that hasn’t been used, but you do see vape mods not working that have been used daily for several years. Let’s see if this guide can help you get your ecig vape pen working again so you can vape juice again.
Firstly, you will need to identify whether or not the battery inside your vape mod is getting charged or not. There is no point in doing further troubleshooting now if the vape mod is not getting any power. Try a different USB charging cable and a different USB mains adapter plug. Either one is a very common cause of an ecig vape pen not working in your home. If you are still getting no power, then try removing the battery and reinsert it. If this doesn't work, then see if you can get hold of an external charger, as sometimes the USB port on the device can get worn out. When this happens, the pins don't connect properly causing a weak electrical connection. If this is the case, we would recommend that you replace the vape mod, as it’s not worth fixing the USB port on your device due to safety reasons.
If your ecig vape pen is still not working, try a different battery in your device. If you don't have a spare battery to test, try swapping it with a fully charged battery from your friend. If you get power, then your mod is fine, and the problem is regarding the charging side of things. Also, try placing your battery that doesn’t allow your vape mod to power on into another device. If it doesn't power on as well, then you know that the battery is dead, and you will need to replace it. When purchasing a brand-new replacement battery please ensure that its original and not fake. Fake batteries may be cheaper, but they bring up safety concerns.
If the screen is coming up on your vape mod and you can adjust the wattage or navigate through the different options there the problem is not with your vape mod. The problems may be related to the vape tank. The connection between the vape tank and coil to the battery mod is the concern, not the battery. Remove the vape tank by unscrewing it anticlockwise. Once you have done this, clean the 510 connectors using a cotton bud. Sometimes, old eliquid can get stuck inside and cause a weak electrical connection. Also, clean the connector that is found at the bottom of the vape tank. Once you have cleaned them both, place the vape tank back onto the vape mod. Turn the vape mod off to reset it and power it back on.
If you are still not getting any vape from your ecig vape pen that’s not working, then the final thing that you can try is to reseat the vape coil or change it with a brand new one. Either way, it will cause problems with the electrical contact between the mod and the coil. Replace it and make sure it fits firmly into the base, once you have done this try again.
