How To Fix Vape Pen Not Turning On or Working Problem
Vaping pens can sometimes be problematic, simply because they rely on electronics to operate. Vaping pens or mods rarely go wrong and most of the time is a reliable device to depend on. If you are having problems with your vape pen not turning on, before you consider purchasing a new vape device, I suggest that you troubleshoot the ongoing problem first. It could be a simple solution to getting your vape pen working again. I have worked as a volunteer for many vape shops in the past and they have provided me with the greatest experience of dealing with any kind of problems. I thought it will be a great idea to share this on my vape blog to help you.
Firstly, you will need to establish if the vape pen you're using is getting power from charging. If there is a charging problem, the vape device will have no power to switch on. Usually, when you plug in a charger into a vape pen, the screen and charging indicator will appear. If the vape pen that’s not powering on doesn't have a screen, an LED indicator light will display. If you are getting no indication that the vape pen is charging, then you start by trying a different wall outlet. Also, try using another USB mains adapter, if that doesn't work try a different charging cable. I would also suggest cleaning the metal contacts that are found inside the port and reattaching the cable again. Also removing the batteries and cleaning the metal contacts sometimes does the trick.
Sometimes what can happen is the 18650 batteries that are inside the device can become faulty. This may happen due to overuse, as batteries only have a certain amount of recharge cycle. Also, if you have not used your vape mod in a while, if the batteries are not regularly charged, the voltage can become at a low level that can't be brought up again. Once the batteries are dead, they sometimes don't wake up when on a regular charger and the only option is to replace them all. I would suggest you try the vape batteries in a different vape mod. This will be able to help you rule out what the problem is. Sometimes the USB port on the vape mod can also become defective; therefore, we always recommend that you use an external charger.
If none of the above have worked, then there is most likely a hardware issue with the vape mod that you are using. The power button could be faulty or a short on the board, it could also have got damaged if you had accidentally dropped it on the floor. Due to safety reasons, it is not recommended at all to try to attempt to repair a vape mod with replacement parts or soldering iron. If your vape pen is out of warranty, then the only solution would be to replace it with a brand new one.
