How To Fix Ecig Vape Tank Leaking into Battery

Are you’re aware of your ecig tank leaking into the battery from the air hole or into your mouth? If so, you will be losing lots of eliquid and this can create a disruptive and inconvenience spillage on the mod itself. The common reason why your ecig vape tank leaks into the battery is because there is something loose or out of place. The most common cause of an ecig vape tank leaking into a battery is due to previous overfilling with too much eliquid, more than what the tank can hold.

We are going to provide you with a general troubleshooting guide to stop your ecig vape tank from leaking into the battery. The first point of concern is to check that the coil head is securely fitted into the base of your tank is usually the main concern.

1) Unscrew the vape tank from the vaping device itself. This will make it easier for you to inspect the coil condition.

2) Remove the glass from the tank. If you move it anticlockwise from the base, it will eventually twist off.

3) Now the coil will be inside the tank. Remove the coil completely, inspect it from the bottom it should have a small rubber ring placed on the bottom of it. This is in place to ensure a tight seal between the coil and the base. Sometimes when you change the coil this can become lost, as it can easily drop out.

4) Once you have checked the condition of the coil is fine, then the problem is likely to be that the coil was not secured into the base. This can easily happen if it has not been fitted securely in the first place or may have become loose due to dropping the vape mod. So, our best advice is to attempt to reposition the coil into the middle of the base. This followed by screwing it right into the base, so that it can’t turn anymore, but don’t overtighten it.

5) When you place the glass back on, also make sure that it fitted in securely onto the base to prevent any further leaks.
