How To Fix Vape Pen Not Producing Vapor Smoke

how to fix vape pen not producing no vapor or smoke

Its common for many ecig vape pens to not produce vapor or smoke if they are not setup correctly. An ecig is made up a tank, coil and a battery all there parts have to connect together in order for the ecig to function. If any become problematic your ecig will not produce any kind of vapor, but most of the time its a simple fix. We get many customers come to our vape shop handing over there device and saying if we can fix it for them because there ecig is not producing any smoke. I have the knowledge and experience of how ecigs work and what can cause them to stop working. So i have constructed this guide to help you newbies that have just got into vaping to see if you have fix your own broken vape pen.

1) Faulty Charger. The battery needs charge for it to work, check the charger is charging the battery up. If your mod has a display or light it should be showing an indication that its charging up. Use the charger cable on another device to see if its working. USB Cables may look like they work from the outside, but the tiny wires inside can break off cause your ecig not to charge up.

2) Battery not seated properly with tank. The metal silver 510 connector on the top of the battery needs to connect with the terminals on the bottom of the tank. If this is loose or there is dirt such as eliquid leaking ontop of it, it will cause a bad connection. Best way is remove the tank clean the metal connector and retighten the tank. Power on your vape pen to see if its producing vapor now.

3) Coil. This is what turns the eliquid into vapor, this can either be faulty or not seated probably in the base. If you have a mod with a screen display it should inform that there is a coil short or no atomizer is found. If the coil looks good, get a multimeter to check what ohms it reads if it reads nothing its probably gone bad.

4) Bad batteries. Cold weather, overcharging or overuse can cause a bad battery. The best way to test this is to check the voltage of the 18650 battery once you have charged is using a digital multimeter by setting it to volts. If it reads around 4.2 then its working fine, it it reads something like 1.2 or 0.5 volts its dead and needs replacing. Remember when replacing the battery that you use the correct one with your coil, the last thing you want is a low amp battery blowing up your vape pen.

5) Vape watts too low to drive the coil. Some crazy coils require a certain amount of power to get them going. All coils have a recommended coil power rating inorder for it to work properly. Increase the power to the coil to see if you get more vapor production your ecig. You might have your ecig on 10- 20 watts range and some tank hardly produce any smoke at such low power levels.

Hope this guide has helped many vapers that are out there that are having problems with the ecig not producing any smoke today. After all we are always here to help you guys with any kind of problems that are vaping related. If you have questions we would love to hear from you.
