If you want to change the coils in your SMOK TFV4, the instructions that are provided in the box are probably misplaced at this point. Changing the coils on a vape tank is something that you already know if you are a long term vapor. But if you are new to vaping and have just picked up the SMOK TFV4 tank, then you will need the fully disassembly instructions to remove the coil. Replacing the coil is one thing, but you will also need to prime it for its first use. This is a simply step that most new vapours miss out on and then assume why there new coils tastes worse than the old one. Right let get to changing the coil on your SMOK TFV4 tank. We have had some problems in the past with the TFV4 tank that it won’t unscrew and the glass is stuck, this is mainly due to it being overtighten or not been cracked open before.
1) We recommend that you remove the tank from the
mod when changing the coil on your SMOK TFV4 tank. This is because it can get
messy as old ejuice can come out when switching coils.
2) Once the tank is removed from the actual ecig,
take apart the glass from the base of the vape tank by twisting it
anticlockwise and finally it will screw off.
3) You will see the coil head screwed into the
base, to remove the coil from your SMOK TFV4 turn the coil anticlockwise it
will eventually come off. Then all you need to do is screw in your brand-new
coil, its not that hard at all to change coils in a SMOK TFV4 thanks to a
clever design.
4) Now that you done the main part, you will now
need to prime the tfv4 tank. This will ensure you don't get a burnt taste when
vaping. This is done by pouring a few drops of eliquid into the sides of the
new coil in the vape tank and in the middle area. Once you have done that reassemble
the SMOK TFV4 tank and fill it up to the top allowing it to sit for 10-15 minutes.
