How To Replace Cotton in ECIG Vape Pen RDA / Tank

If you notice that you are getting a slight burnt taste when vaping your ecig, then you might perhaps consider to change the cotton inside the ecig vape pen. Let me explain. The reason why your ecig is tasting bad is because there wasn’t enough ejuice to prime the cotton in your tank. When i mean prime, basically the eliquid was insufficient to reach the cotton wrapped around the coil. So when you hit the fire button your ecig, the cotton will start to burn giving off a bad harsh taste on your throat. If you have already burned out your coil, then you can try saving it by changing the cotton. You can only change the cotton on your ecig. if its a RDA dripper tank or an RBA that goes inside a tank. Premade coils are jammed in from the factory and you can't remove the cotton because if you do the coil will also come with it.

When changing the old cotton your RDA Vape dripper or RBA, the type of cotton you should use is always organic cotton balls. The normal cotton balls you get from your store will not be ideal since they contain other stuff that is not healthy when vaped.

1) Remove the top part of your dripper RDA tank.

2) You will see the cotton inside the coil. Force it out from one end using a flat head screwdriver.

3) Cut off a thin line from your sheet of new cotton.

4) To help feed it in, twist the ends this will allow it to slip in place.

5) Once you have done that, simply push the twisted end into the coil. Then gradually push it through until it gets to the centre. If you have too much access you can cut it off with a scissors. Push the ends of the cotton on each side of the coil into the juice well.

6) Thats all there is to replacing your cotton in your ecig vape pen. All you have to now do is prime the new cotton, pouring a few drops of eliquid onto the cotton.
