How To Fix ECIG Vape Pen Battery That Wont Turn On

If you seem to find that your ecig is not working it wont turn on and its not producing vapor, the first thing you are going to take into your concern is the battery. There are a few things that you can try before you can finalize if the ecig battery is the problem. Some of them are simple, but in my own experience, its the simplest things that we sometimes forget to release when vaping.

1) Check that you are pressing the fire button five times. You might have missed a click, stopping your ecig from powering on. Press the fire button 5 times or more quickly to turn on your ecig. If its still not turning on move on to the next troubleshooting step.

2) Check if your ecig battery is charging properly, if it not the ecig battery wont turn on because there are not enough volts. Plug the usb cable into your ecig charging port and into a usb mains plug. Do you see the battery indicator going up and down? If you don't see this, you have found the problem its not charging. Try a different usb wire, different usb mains plug or try a port on your computer. If these don't solve anything then try cleaning the usb port on the ecig device using a cotton bud.

3) Your ecig might be powering on but the coil inside the tank might not be firing up. Remove the tank from the ecig vape pen. Clean the metal 510 connectors using a tissue because sometimes there can be ejuice that is leaking that can cause problems with the contacts. The best way to see if this is the problem would be to clean the connectors and see if it makes a difference.

If you have checked the above, then chances are you will need to replace the 18650 battery. Its probably become weak due to being charged too many times past its expectations. You can get a new battery for around ten pounds and replace it. But make sure its the right mah, has enough amps and of course the most important that is genuine product.

If changing the battery don't work, then you have a faulty ecig mod. This is beyond repair in most cases, you can either sent it back and get a replacement if you have warranty or bin it.
