How To Break In a New Sub Ohm Coil For Your ECIG

If you notice that your new coils in your ecig vape pen keep tasting burnt after the first few vapes, you are not breaking in your sub ohm coil. Breaking is essential because it allows the juice inside the cotton to get soaked up at a steady speed. This involves priming it and slowly turning up the power so that the new coil breaks in. The breaking in process is split down into two parts to make it easier for you to understand.

Priming your new ecig coil:

1) Get your eliquid and pour 3-4 drops into the middle area of the coil.

2) Also, apply some ejuice into the side vents of the coil.

3) Place the glass back onto the tank. Fill up the tank with eliquid and allow it to sit for a bit. We always recommend around 10 minutes, as this will provide sufficient time for the coil to soak up.

4) Once you have done that, before use close the vents on the bottom. Then suck through the mouthpiece on the top of the tank. This will strength all the e-juice into the coil.

Breaking in your new sub ohm coil:

1) Before using your coil, you must break it in to get best flavour and taste.

2) Turn down the power to around 40 watts. Vape 1 puff.

3) Increase the power output to 55 watts. Vape 3 puffs.

4) Increase the power output to the maximum limit of the coil. You can now take unlimited puffs without risking the sub ohm coil burning out.

Most vapers prime there brand new coils for their ecig vape pen, however they always seem to miss out breaking in sub ohm coils. Priming allows the ejuice to soak in properly and breaking it allows the coil to adjust different levels of power. We have had lots of people complain that they are going through coils daily even though they have primed. When we informed them to prime and then break in the coils, the issues was resolved immediately.
