If you want more flavour rather than blowing the biggest clouds in the
world, then the SMOK Spiral is currently the best tank for flavour chasers. It
comes in a wide range of colours that makes you match the tank with the colour
of your mod. The SMOK spiral tank comes with two supplied coils, one for mouth to lung hit (max 28 watts) and the direct
lung hits other (max 35) watts. They are both great coils for a small powered
mod with a single 18650 battery. It will not drink your eliquid like with a huge TFV12 tank and the coils will last longer.
However, compared to the TFV8 baby beast, the build quality on the SMOK Spiral
tank is very poor. You can tell by the build quality and the parts used that it
is not that durable. Features such as top filling, is slightly cheeped out on this tank, screwing off the top cap
compared to the hatch you flick open on regular SMOK tanks says it all. But for
the price you get this greatly tasting vape tank for, you can't really complain
about what you get. It does what it says on the tin. This is become a common tank for vapors in Norway and can be easily purchased from Friske Drag the No1 vape shop in Norway.
There is one issue that I have experienced myself with this tank and it is
leaking from the air holes. It’s not very fun when you place the ecig in your pocket with the spiral tank and
when it time to vape there is no e-liquid left inside the glass tank, as it
has leaked all inside your pocket. I tried several things to see if I could fix
my SMOK spiral tank from leaking, but during the time of trying to figure out
what it was, I lost 10ml worth of juice.
Not happy at all. So, what I have done is made a quick handy guide that can
help you fix any leaking related issues with your SMOK vape tank.
1) Don't overfill the tank with e-liquid. This is common and usually, you cannot realise that this makes you assume that your tank is leaking. If you overfill any vape tank, the e-liquid will have nowhere to go, as the glass can't hold what’s inside, so it will begin to leak its way out of the bottom air holes. Drain your tank and start again, fill to the top of the glass and see if this time you still get any leaks on your spiral tank.
2) Make sure the 'O' rings are correctly seated. These are placed in between
the glass part of the tank, they are used to ensure a tight seal between the
different parts. They look like a circular shaped rubber band thing. If this
has accidental been misplaced or is loose, the SMOK spiral vape tank with begin
to leak. Take your tank apart, check all the seals are tight and try again.
3) Bad coil. Now coils even though they are purchased brand new, they are not
always 100% from the factory. I have noticed through my lifetime of vaping, I always get the odd coil that is made worse that others and causes leakage problems.
This is for all tanks, not just the spiral. Try a new coil and make sure it is
seated correctly onto the base, being nice and tight. Also, if you are using
the supplied RBA deck, add more cotton to see if the leakage problems stop.
These are the three top tips to stop your SMOK tank from leaking. If you
still have leaking and gurgling problems, chances are that it a defect from the
factory. So, you will need to get it replaced by
the vape vendor that you purchased it from. In most cases, they will be more
than welcome to offer you a direct replacement of the same tank.
