Dabbing cannabis has become popular within the marijuana community. THC concentrates
that are used with a dabber device, tend to have higher levels than the regular marijuana flowers that you would
usually smoke. Dabbing can be tricky at first, but once mastered, using
concentrates this way will provide you with much more intense pain relief
effect in a short amount of time. Now a dabbing device such as the dabbing pro, just looks like your usual glass pipe, however, there are many different technical parts that you need to
be aware of. It looks complicated, however,
after your first dab, you should be more
confident. You will find this guide useful to help you on your journey of
dabbing.
The cannabis extract itself is the main ingredient. Usually, for dabbing use
they come in a variety of forms, but the most commonly
used are CO2, BH0, and solventless extracts. Due to the extraction
process being so intense in a dabber, you will need to be aware if it contains alcohol as this is potentially
harmful. Now let’s go through the main elements.
The water pipe. The glass bowl is removable
and can you can replace it with your desired attachments to turn your pipe into
a dab rig.
The nail. You will have to find an exact nail that fits the type of water
pipe that you are using. You can get them in ceramic and quartz. However, I
would recommend that you use the titanium as it is more durable and is popular over
the others as there is more availability of it.
The dome. This is placed around the
nail. Dome-less nails don't need a glass globe, but regular nails need
something to compress the vapor before its inhaled to get a good hit.
A torch. You will need this to heat up the nail that has the dab oil/wax inside
the nail. There are flameless options available, however the most superior is
the torch method as it’s the most cost-effective.
Now that you are aware of the different components used, it’s time to
getting dabbing with your favorite
device. You got to be quick at this one.
1) Switch on your torch and point the blue flame towards the nail. Keep
heating it up until it gets red hot.
2) Turn off the torch once you see it glow red, as it’s an indication that it’s
up to the optimal temperature. If you are using a titanium nail, please allow
it to cool for about 10 seconds, if you are using quartz nails, please allow 45
seconds.
3) Now take your dabber, place some dab wax/oil extracts onto the nail
inside the dome. While doing so begin to inhale slowly. While you are doing
this, its recommended that you rotate the dabber tip on the nail to prevent any
concentrates being lost in the process.
4) Now exhale and relax. Keep repeating this procedure until you satisfy your
needs.
Dabbing can be fun once you get the hang on it. However, please bear in mind
that the nails and glass domes can be extremely hot during the process. The more
you repeat it, the more the temperature is going to rise, so please wait for everything
to cool down being you handle them directly.
