In vaping, there are two main things users go for either flavor and clouds. Some prefer a balance of both and others may want one or the other. If you are looking to get more vapor from your vape pen, there are many things that you can try to improve the thickness of the vape clouds. You might want to blow bigger clouds because they look cool and help improve your vape tricks. If you love to blow O rings and love to play around with the vapor, then more clouds mean more room for improvement. Today, we are going to go over the different elements of cloud chasing and how you can help get more smoke from your vape pen.
Vape Mod
The mod itself
plays a very big part of how big your clouds can go. A dual or triple 18650 battery
mod has better battery life and a higher capacity of being used at a higher
wattage. Triple battery mods such as the wismec RX200 can go right up to 250
watts. However, that is an old mod now, but it still works well if you want
something that looks very basic with the raw power underneath. If you are
looking for the most powerful mod to date, right now the SMOK GX350 is
something you should consider. Not three batteries, but it can hold four 18650
batteries. You will need an external charger for charging up mods that have
more than two batteries, as USB charging will almost take a full day and
charging via USB port will not provide an equal balance of voltage. That is why
if you charge via USB, some batteries will have a higher voltage than the other
one, which can cause strain on either one damaging the cells over time.
The SMOK GX2/4 has
a universal design, which is also good for blowing big vape clouds. With using
the extended battery cover that is supplied in the kit, you can increase the
battery capacity from two 18650 batteries to four. So, you always have the
option to downgrade the batteries and have a smaller mod that you can fit in

Batteries
If you have a vape
mod holds more batteries, you are probably thinking that you will have more
power. That is true, however, there are different rated batteries out there on
the market. Some batteries have higher amps that will allow your mod to reach
its full potential. However, usually the higher rated amps the batteries are
the battery capacity of how long it lasts usually is less. If you want to vape
safe at higher wattages, I always recommend my customers to use 2500mAh
batteries such as the SAMSUNG 25R. This gives you the flexibility to play
around with higher wattages with a good level of safety. Also, ensure that you
only purchase original batteries, there are many fakes on the market that are
rewrapped in their own branded packaging. They provide fake ratings and
certainly not safe to vape on. Please ensure that you only purchase from 100%
authentic seller.
Sub Ohm
vape tanks / Coils /RDA
Each tank has its
own specialty. If you are looking for big, huge and impressive clouds, you will
have to give up some flavor from your e-juice and stay away from flavor geared
tanks such as the SMOK spiral. If you are wanting huge clouds and want a tank
system, then the SMOK TFV12 cloud beast king original is the one for you. It
has some huge coils and within seconds the room will be fogged out with vapor.
The V12 coil that is come supplied within the box can go right up to 350 watts,
now that is some serious vapor. If you want something slightly smaller, then
the SMOK TFV8 baby beast is also a good option with the Q2 coils and the
T8 coils.
If you are into
building your own coils, you can do your own builds just for clouds. An RDA
system atomizer is a great place to start. You have your own building deck were
you wind, screw and cut your own coils into it. If you have some time on your
hands, then this might be a better option for you, as cloud chasing tends to be
expensive with the SMOK TFV12 range. With an RDA, you building your own coils
is cheap as chips, a roll of Clapton wire costs $5 and a pack of cotton around
$2.
With both an RDA or
sub ohm vape tank, the lower the ohm resistance of the coil, the more power the
coil is going to obtain from the battery. This usually means more heat at fewer
wattages, which results in more vapor. For example, a 0.15-ohm coil will
provide more vapor than a 0.40 coil at the same wattage, as there is less
electrical resistance in the circuit. However, always be sure to vape safe
under the ohms law. If you are unsure about what is it, you need to do some
research. If you are using a regulated mod then you don't need to worry about
this as much.
Use higher
VG based e-liquid juices
Vape ejuice is made
from a combination of a mix between VG and PG, which are both ingredients that
are needed to make vape juice. Nicotine is not recommended for maximum clouds,
as it will make it harder for you to take in more vapor. If you want more
clouds, you need to have a smoother vape to fill up your lungs without having
to cough. All this is possible without the use of any nicotine. If you want
huge clouds or a low powered setup, you need high VG ratio ejuice. A 50/50
ratio of PG/VG is what you want to look out for on the label found on the
bottles of e-liquid at your local vape store.
