How to Use CBD Oil for Pain Relief

The arrival of cannabidiol oil (CBD) has shown great potential in terms of innovation in the field of pain control. Until now, pain control in individuals suffering from chronic pain derived from conditions such as cancer, neuropathies, fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis has been limited to pharmaceutical analgesics that are usually accompanied by adverse side effects. In contrast, CBD hemp oil for pain is a viable and well-tolerated alternative to the analgesics currently on the market.

There are different products that contain CBD in the market. Hemp CBD Shatter is one of the best up and coming products available for purchase. To use it, it can be ingested or used as a compound in creams and ointments, sprays and teas or hemp infusions. The effect of cannabidiol takes time to appear between 15 and 30 minutes.

In the case of tinctures, its operation is very simple. Place a few drops below the tongue (sublingual) one to two times a day or as needed. In the case of infusions, it is a matter of preparing a conventional infusion, adding some type of milk or fat as butter to help this cannabinoid dissolve correctly.

Despite the use of CBD Vape Juice for pain, clinical research, until now, is limited; although high quality clinical trials have consistently demonstrated the benefits of CBD through inhalation, topicals, or tinctures, only a few studies available specifically cover the benefits of CBD oil for pain; however, preliminary studies have shown promises that the benefits of CBD can also be obtained through oil formulas. A recent report cited findings that the use of CBD oil reduced the incidence of painful spasms in patients suffering from multiple sclerosis.

Another study concluded that the use of CBD orally and inhaled was associated with a similar reduction in pain that was more effective than traditional treatments for fibromyalgia. Traditional treatments, on the other hand, ended in little symptom improvement.

Generally speaking, CBD has proven to be an effective compound for pain control. A 2011 study of high-quality clinical trials showed that CBD, compared to a placebo, had a significant analgesic effect in individuals, and was specifically found to be effective for neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. In addition, many study participants reported improvements in sleep quality and none reported serious adverse effects; most of the adverse effects were mild-moderate in severity.

Although the effectiveness of CBD and other compounds in hemp and cannabis for pain control may come as a surprise to the average American, the analgesic properties of cannabis are not a new discovery at all. Historically, cannabis has been used to treat pain along with a variety of other ailments, such as seizures, malaria, gout and rheumatism, but despite millennia of use in cultures around the world, and even centuries of pharmaceutical use in USA, cannabis has not been a mainstream health option for Americans until now.
