How To Change Coil On a Vape Pod System

A vape pod is a great device that can be used to quit smoking. With its portable design and portability, its certainly an attractive vape style in today’s vape market. You will need to change the vape coil on your device to ensure you always get a smooth vape with a great taste. If you don't change the vape coil on any vape pod system regularly, you will notice dry hits and a burnt plastic taste make its way into your mouth. When this happens, the cotton wicks that are found inside the vape coil are damaged from overuse or incorrectly priming it before using it for the first time. Prime any vape coil for any device is key to get right. This is because priming allows the vape coil allows the cotton to soak up the vape juice. If you use your vape device before this process, you will be vaping on burnt cotton, as the cotton wicks won't be saturated. Changing the coil on a vape is a very easy process and this guide has been designed to help you with it.

I would recommend that you head over to the sink, as when you remove the vape coil from the vape pod system, things can get messy. First power off the device by pressing the button on the device in the power-off sequence. Please refer to your user manual for guidance on this matter, as every device has its method.

Now that you have done that, detach the vape pod from the housing. This can be done simply but pulling it off from the vape pod system. Some vape pods have a quick-release button on the side or in the middle to pop out the vape pod.

Now that you have removed the vape pod. You will see the vape coil inside the clear plastic. Either you will have to remove the vape coil by popping it out or by unscrewing it anticlockwise. This again depends on which brand vape pod you want to change the vape coil on. You can also wash the inside of the vape pod if you wish to, this is to prevent mixing the old ejuice with the new ejuice you are going to use. If you are using the same flavor, then this will not matter at all.

Once you have the old vape coil out from your pod system, you will need to prime the brand new vape coil. This is easily done by applying a few drops of ejuice into the center wicking holes and the holes around the vape coil. Once you have done this, install the vape coil back into the vape tank and wait 10 minutes before using your vape device, to ensure the coil gets fully soaked up.

Installing and priming a vape coil for your pod devices is simple once you have done it for the first time. This guide will prevent you from breaking your device or incorrectly priming your coil. I have seen many brand-new electronic cigarette users dislike vaping because of the burnt taste because they don't know how to prime a vape coil correctly and go back to smoking.
