How often should you change the vape coil on your vape pen

A vape pen is a great healthy alternative for quitting regular cigarettes and the long-term costs of vaping are often cheap than smoking. To ensure you always get an optimal vape that’s satisfying, it is recommended that you chain the vape coil when you notice the performance of the vape starts to degrade. From personal experience, I recommend that you change a vape coil every week if you are a heavy vapor that constantly uses the device on daily basis. The average lifespan of a vape coil is around one week, however, there are many factors to consider that increase or decrease its longevity.

How many watts you vape on can have a major impact on how long your vape coil lasts. This is because the higher the watts, the more heat the coil generates providing thicker vape clouds. This places more strain on the metal wire inside the coil. Over time, after being heated so many times the wire starts to break inside, and the cotton becomes thinner. This reduces the performance of the coil and you will start to notice less vapor production and a burnt harshness on your throat. These are common signs that you indicate that you need to replace your old vape coil with a brand new vape coil. If you continue to vape on a burnt vape coil, this could leave burnt toxins getting inside your lung. So as soon as you notice a dry hit, put the device down, purchase some brand-new replacement coils and replace the burnt one in your vape tank.

When purchasing replacement brand new vape coils for your ecig, it’s important to purchase them for a reputable online ecig vendor and try to avoid places like eBay. This is because there are many fakes or clones of official vape coils being produced in China for half the price. The built quality is poor, we had taken one apart once to examine the differences compared to an original coil. We had noticed that the fake vape coil has less cotton inside and the kanthal wire used to create the coil wrap was weak and thin. Within a couple of days using the fake coils, they had burnt out. Fake coils may be cheaper to purchase, but because they don't last as long, you will be buying twice as much as original coils. So, the overall money that you are going to save from purchasing fake vape coils on eBay is the same compare to purchase original coils, as you don't require to replace them often.
