Have you just picked up your brand new shiny vape starter kit from your online vape vendor? Well, first of all, well done to make the best life-changing decision in your life if you are trying to quit smoking, this is the first step to success. Since you have picked up a vape starter kit, it will come with everything you require to get set up for the first time. Most vape starter kits contain a vape tank, a vape of vape coils, including a preinstalled coil, spare parts for the vape tank, a USB vape charging cable, and some sort of instructions enclosed on a leaflet. It can be confusing at first on how to construct everything together to make it function for the first time. However, once you have read this vape blog post, you will find it easy to get going. We can understand that you may have never vaped before and that it can sometimes feel slightly daunting.
Vape starter kits don't come with batteries inside the box. Different vape batteries are not always compatible with your vape mod. Please check the manufacturer specs before you start looking for brand new batteries to purchase. The most common type of vape battery is known as the 18650 battery. They are supplied by many brands such as LG and Samsung. You want to ensure that you only purchase original vape batteries because fake batteries contain poor safety standards and are not worth the risk of your vape device blowing up in your pocket. Also, remember never to remove the vape batteries and place them in your pocket with any metal objects such as keys. This is because it can create a short and cause the battery to overheat. Also never mix and match vape batteries because will cause an imbalance of voltage. They have to be both the same brand and type and also both fitted when new for the first time. You can't use one old and one new vape battery, as this will cause a voltage imbalance and will degrade the performance of your new battery. However, it will work but we strongly don't recommend it at all.
Fitting the batteries is easy in your vape mod. The battery hatch will be either on the back or the bottom of the vape bottom and putting your fingernail into the slot to pry it out will open it. Ensure that you place the batteries the correct way in the device. There will be markings inside the battery compartment plastic telling you which way to place the batteries in the device. All vape mods have a safety circuit placed inside so the worst that can happen is your vape device won't charge and won't turn on. Connect the USB cable to the charging port placed on the vape mod and connect the other end into a compatible main to USB wall adapter that can provide 5 volts over 2 amps charging. This will provide the fastest battery charging for the batteries placed inside your vape mod.
While your device is charging, you can fill your vape tank for the first time. We recommend that you prime the vape coil because when it is new it will be dry. Dissemble the vape tank by turning the vape tank anticlockwise using one of your hands. Keep turning until the glass comes off the bottom half of the vape tank. There will be small holes placed around the vape coil, these are called wicking holes, and all you to apply vape juice inside. This will help the process of the fresh cotton inside the vape tank to get saturated with vape juice. We also recommend that you place few drops of vape juice inside the vape coil to provide that extra level of saturation. Once you have done that fit the glass back on but remember not to overtighten it, as this will cause problems later when you require to change the vape coil on your device.
The vape tank will have a filling hatch, which is usually located on the top of the vape device. It will flick open and a filling hole with be exposed through a rubber washer. Remove the protective cap from your ejuice bottle that you wish to use to fill up your vape tank. Place the end tip of the nozzle into the hole and gently squeeze on the bottle. Take your time when you do this because you don't want to overflow the tank and create a mess. Once you have reached the maximum filling level, close the hatch and replace the protective cap on your ejuice bottle.
You have now done the hard part of setting up the hardware. Once the batteries on your vape device are fully charged, unplug the charging lead and switch off the wall plug. To turn on your vape mod, most devices require the fire button to be clicked five times quickly to power the vape on and unlock the screen. You will now need to set up the vape watts on your vape mod. There will be a screen located on your device, the mode that you want to use with the coil is wattage mode, if the coil is not compatible with temperature control. Set the wattage to the recommended wattage range the manufacturer has set for the coil. If you don't have time to read online about it, the wattage range will be printed on the coil if you look closely inside the vape tank. Setting your coil within the optimal wattage range will provide the best performance. If you exceed this, you will either burn out the vape coil. However, underpowering the vape coil is fine and you won't do any damage to it.
To take your first vape, place your mouth onto the plastic mouthpiece and press the fire button on your vape device. While pressing the button inhale using your lungs and release the fire button. You can then exhale the vapor when you are comfortable and doing so. Keep repeating the process until you have reached your desired nicotine level. If you have not vaped before it will take some time to get used to and it is recommended to gradually work your way up with the wattage on the coils. You will notice that you will cough a lot for the first couple of days because your throat is not used to the vape and also your body is getting rid of all the junk that was created from regular bad for your health cigarettes.
