How To Make a ECIG Vape Pen Charge Faster

slow battery charge on ecig

The last thing you want in the morning before work is to wait for your ecig to charge up for the day. If you want to make your ecig vape pen charger faster, there are a few things you can do to speed up the charge process being transferred to the battery. Although there is not much can do as such, you still got to wait the charging time but it will be reduced by almost half. The more batteries your ecig has and the more watts it can provide to the tank, the more longer its going to take to charge.

USB 3.0 or Mains Charger With High Amps

The higher the amps on the USB port of the mains to usb adapter the quicker its going to charge. If you are using a laptop to charge your ecig, the blue color USB 3.0 will be faster than the older 2.0. When looking for a new powerful fast charger for your ecig, get one with an high power 2.1 amp USB port. 1 amps ports will take more time, however they are cheaper to buy because of this reason.

Turn off device

Click the button fives times on your ecig to turn it on. This will reduce power consumption when the ecig vape pen is charging up. This will make it quicker to charge up because it will be using less power when on charge, especially if your device has a digital screen.

Using a good quality USB Cable.

Cheap USB cables have poor gauge wire inside with minimal wire inside. You can just tell straight away with what a cheap cable feels and looks like. Try to avoid it if you can, thicker cables can provide more current and a faster charge for your ecig. A nice good quality micro USB port thick cable in combination 2.1 amp charger will provide your ecig with a really quick charge.

Go with an external charger.

If your ecig has multiple 18650 batteries inside and is not an regular ego style vape pen, then its best to get a external charger. Vape battery mods such as the Wismec RX200 and the DNA 200 can go upto 200 watts and need three 18650s. This would take almost a fully day to charge on a regular USB port, so the best way is to get an external charger such as the Xtar VC4 Charger. Can charge four batteries at once really quickly and you can use the spares for back up later as well.
