How To Make ECIG Vape Pen Battery Last Longer & Increase Charge

If you notice during vaping your ecig that frequently the ecig battery is not holding charge for long, you might want to make the vape pen battery last longer. Now the average lifespan for a ecig battery is around 300-400 charges, after that the performance starts to degrade and it wont hold charge for that long. If you want to make your ecig vape pen battery last longer, remember if you are into big cloud chasing its going to be almost impossible to do, unless you carry a spare battery with you because big clouds require big power. Fully charge before use

Unplugging the ecig from the usb to mains charger when not fully charged is not going to give you the full battery capacity of it, its common sense really. The best thing that we recommend is to fully charge it before use, as half charging it in the long term can reduce battery lifecycle.

Lower Watts

The lower the watts the less power is being sent to the tank from the battery. Lower power means less vape smoke production. If you usually vape at 50 watts, vaping at 35 watts will give you almost the same vaping satisfaction with double the battery life.

Lower ohm coil

The lower the ohm resistance on the coil the more power its going to take. If you have a sub ohm tank its going to place lots of strain on the battery. If you want more battery life from your ecig, replace the coil in the tank with a higher rated one. For example, a 1.0 ohm coil will take less battery power than one rated at 0.5 ohms.

Turn off device when not in use

If you are not vaping, before placing it back into your pocket click the fire button five times to turn off the power. This will make the battery last longer because buttons wont be pressed and also the screen will not be on all the time.

Use a higher MAH battery

The mah rating on any battery with provided a good indication of its capacity. For example a 3000 mah battery will last longer than a 2100 one, however the amps will be less on the 3000. You need to ensure that you get the maximum mah based on the type of coil to use, interms of amps to ensure its safe to use a higher rated MAH battery if your not a big vapor.
